As humans, the places we go and the amount of travel can vary depending on our jobs, family, vacations and just sense of adventure. There are those whose activities change weekly and then there are those whose schedules are the same every day.

There is no doubt that with the pandemic, schedules and travel changed drastically for most. Fear of catching or spreading covid-19 was a main factor of less travel but now that vaccines are rolling out, numbers seem to be down and state restrictions are lifting, are people actually venturing out more?


To find out, we analyzed the geographical range that folks tend to stay within, and we found that compared to just 1 month ago, people are definitely on the move again!


On average people are now traveling 17% farther and covering more than 30% ground than they were before.
